1) State any difference between SDET and Manual Software Tester

2) What is the definition of ad hoc testing?

3) State the difference between priority and severity

  1. Not really, there are no questions about programming. SDET is software developer who creates automated tests, these questions are for manual QA.

      Completely agree. SDET needs to have all the skills of a manual tester and many of the skills of a developer.

    2. This is theory. How do you work w/t knowledge of basics. Must know! A lot of manual QA switched to automation because of knowledge.

      SDET should have way more developer skills than testers.
      Testers explore the product to learn about it. By learning you gain a preview of the risks of the test result.

      SDET automate the knowledge gained from the testers. It’s impossible to test something that you don’t know how should work.

  2. Totally agree with all above comments, there is nothing related to SDET interview questions, very inappropriate heading has been used. Admin please use the title carefully, everyone will appreciate it if you do not waste their time.
